As part of The Australian String Quartet’s Close Quarters series, we co-designed a brand new immersive multi-sensory dining experience set to an hour of beautiful classical string music.

Design

We worked with the ASQ team to put the set list in order, design the space layout, and create unique eating experiences to match each song of the set list.

Deliver

Across three evenings and six performances we led this award-winning 5-star experience for guests through the tastes and sounds of contemporary composers.

Ravel: Cheese Palette

A platter of soft cheeses, dried pear and balsamic glaze served on a paint palette - set with palette knifes and paint brushes was a perfect complement to this French Romantic composer.

Shostakovich: Chili Chocolate Smash

Served ice-cold with a mallet for smashing into bit-sized pieces in time with Shostakovich’s similarly striking piece.

Joe Chindamo: Pass the Parcel

Our most interactive course had the ASQ playfully deliver Chindamo’s staccato piece while each table played a game of pass the parcel - ultimately revealing a selection of delicious chocolate fudge.

Schubert| Deconstructed Pavlova
