Post Dining disrupts and reimagines the relationship between people, food and the environment.

Marrying food with the creative arts, we produce award-winning, innovative forms of entertainment and education designed to engage all the senses.

We use food to create connection; to challenge thinking and to evoke emotions in a playful and delicious way.

Hannah is an eating designer, dietitian and visual artist committed to creatively connecting people with food and nature. Steph is a director, creative producer and multidisciplinary artist invested in using current technologies and interactive storytelling to push the boundaries of immersive performance. Together with like-minded artists, designers, performers, chefs and First Nations collaborators, we use immersive techniques to combine our love for food and the creative arts.

Our thought-provoking designs take the form of interactive and multi-sensory theatre performances, educational workshops, exhibitions, and festival experiences.

Directors

Hannah Rohrlach

Trained as a dietitian, Hannah has a strong interest in people’s relationship with food and how this impacts our wellbeing and our environments.

Hannah further studied Visual Arts, allowing her to explore creative ways to engage audiences with playful and mindful discussion around food. This emerged into her current practise in eating design after teaming up with Steph in 2015. Through her work, Hannah seeks to find creative and novel ways to translate her knowledge of food, psychology, biochemistry and design into immersive experiences that go beyond the superficial action of eating and engage audiences on an intellectual, emotional and social level.

Stephanie Daughtry

Trained in the performing arts, Steph has built a multidisciplinary repertoire that encompasses installation, film, sound and participatory elements to strengthen her practice and its ability to connect with audiences.

Concerned with built and natural spaces Steph’s arts practice considers human impact on our environment and vice versa. Steph creates immersive multi-disciplinary experiences which guide audiences through imaginary worlds. In 2015 Steph co-founded creative production company Post Dining which uses food as a tool to interact and playfully disrupt the status quo. She also works as a freelancer across film and live performance.
